I’ve read it takes anywhere from 28 to 66 days to create a new habit. It’s been 28 days since I started my challenge of doing one Breathwork session per day for 30 days. I’ve practiced 16 sessions in that time and I’m feeling pretty happy with that accomplishment. Yeah I haven’t stuck with my original plan but I am still committed to doing the entire 30 Sessions. It just might take me 66 days.
I am finding it easier to incorporate Breathwork into my day and when I do my practice I feel so much more at peace.
Doing Breathwork alone without a facilitator or other participants is a different experience. I’ve found without the energy of others in the room my mind tends to wander easily.
The biggest benefit I’ve experienced over the last 28 days is the flow of creativity I experience during sessions. I have really enjoyed the creative inspiration that has come to me during sessions and I’ve documented these through journaling for when I’m ready to execute on the ideas.
I’ve also experienced many different sensations that help me deeply connect to my body and fill me with a buzzing aliveness. I am much more motivated to move my body and to get the stuck energy flowing.
This practice is helping me find balance emotionally, physically, mentally, energetically and spiritually. Each session is a unique experience and I’m so excited to make Breathwork part of my regular routine.
